lubec Maine update

Since so little is posted on lubec maine thought we would add a little since we spent 3 days there in late July 2009.

We stayed at Peacock house B&B which was just delightful.

We ate at Homeport Inn for dinner 2 nights and at Cohill's Inn one night. both good. Homeport is fancier.

It is an exceedingly small town. There is a music school for adults that runs there all summer and concerts everyweek. but we weren't there on the right days.

We spent one day on campobello island. the Roosevelt summer "cottage" is there and explored the rest of the island as well.

The 2nd day we spend exploring the Lubec area. several light houses, some birds and ducks. (we are birders and amateur photographers.) There is hiking and whale watch trips available as well which we didn't do.
