Luau recommendations - Maui
I checked the archives, and this hasn't been addressed for a couple years, so I'm looking for suggestions.
My husband and I will be in Maui next week, and are considering trying a luau. There is one at the Ritz Carlton that is supposed to be special - a celebration of the arts, as well as the actual luau. Does anyone know anything about this?
Any recommendations for other luaus? Any to definitely steer clear of? We are staying in north Kihei, but will have a car.

A friend of mine just got back from Maui and loved the feast at lele http://www.feastatlele.com/123456789.../reservations/
He said it is a little more expensive, but well woth the $. Itis not a buffet. My husband and I will be in Maui for the first time in September and we are going to try it.

Another vote for Old Lahaina. It was fun to walk around and try hula, watch them dig up the pork and several other activities before the meal It is pricey but one of those things it was great to do once.
