Luau: Old Lahaina in Maui vs. Smith's Tropical Paradise in Kauai

Jump to last reply

We're going to the Hawaiian Islands in November with my cousins, who've never been. We're going to Oahu (3 nts.), Maui (7 nts.), and Kauai (3 nts.). We'd like to go to one luau during the trip, either in Maui or Kauai. We'd like a traditional one with good food and good entertainment but that's not overly toursty. We're debating between Old Lahaina in Maui and Smith's Tropical Paradise in Kauai. I'd welcome opinions about each of these, especially from people who've been to both and can dirctly compare them.

Mahalo!
