Trip Report Lower Bear River Reservior, CA Weather?

My fiance and I went camping at this beautiful reservior last year in early August and absolutely LOVED it! Its rather isolated without being in the middle of desolation wilderness, only about 50 miles east of Jackson up Hwy 88. The fishing was especially good last year and I am looking forward to catching some crawfish this summer. The only problem is with all the extra snow the mountians have recieved this year, I noticed the campgrounds only just opened yesterday.
This has me worried that there might still be snow on the ground when we plan to go the second weekend of July. I only have a two weeks to cancle and have a large group waiting to have a great week on the lake.
If anyone has been in the area I would love to hear about how it's looking, if there is still snow or if the sun is shining.
