My daughter is a senior in high school and before we meet up with her and friends in Siesta, I'd like to take her to a special spot and treat her to a nice hotel in a beautiful place and possibly get a spa treatment, visit unique shops and hit the beach. Any suggestions? We will be traveling in March/April.
Looking for a great 2 night getaway between Tampa and Siesta Key.

Restos in Boca Raton

I would go to the Hyatt Resort and Spa Clearwater Beach, which is exactly between Tampa and Siesta. I went in June 2012, and it is right in front of the beach and has a wonderful spa. The hotel is quite new (built 2010). I had an awesome time...
Thanks,

Don Cesar in St Petersburg? Historic, not brand new, but luxurious last I knew. That gives you a pick between modern and Olde Florida.
