Loews Hotel in Miami Beach

We've booked 9 nights at the Loews Hotel in South Beach for us and our two younger boys, ages 10 and 13. We don't need something South Beach quaint - just looking for a classy, comfortable, and convenient hotel where I can recover from knee surgery! Any opinions of the Loews from people who have stayed there? Thanks.
