Hi, Could you please tell me which of these or in what order would you choose these places to stay at in Monterey, CA area--Bide-A-Wee, Sea Breeze Inn, Monterey Bay Lodge, or Deer Have Inn? We are going there in October. Thanks for your input.

You may want to check rooms in Pacific Grove at www.pacificgrove.org. That is the city web site and has a lot of good ideas.
One great place to stay is ASILOMAR. It is rustic, historic and owned by the state of California. No TVs in the rooms but an easy walk across the street to the ocean. Many groups and family reunions have functions here. You may want to look at its web site.
