I probably found this post too late to be of any help to you. You DO NOT want to stay near Barton Coliseum. I suggest you stay downtown at the Peabody or in West Little Rock in the La Quinta on Shackelford or the Embassy Suites on Financial Center Parkway and leave about 45-60 minutes before the concert to navigate your way over to Barton Coliseum, get parked, and get seats.
Thanks for the response. We went this past weekend and I agree--DO NOT stay near Barton Coliseum. The hotel we picked turned out to be fine. We were about 30 minutes away so it was fine.
The Embassy Suites here is nice. If you're looking for convenience to the Colisseum, you might want to try the Hampton Inn. As crazy4Hawaii said do not stay near Barton Coliseum ( If you haven't been here already!) Keep in mind that a new Krispy Kreme has opened right in front of the Hampton, so it will be busy. We are very excited about our doughnuts
We were there the end of January. I wish I had known that a Krispy Kreme was close. Great donuts!
I am taking two young children to Little Rock in June. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel with pool and suite? Thanks.
kevin,
I replied on your other thread with some possibilities.
