I will be in Little Rock for 2 nights and plan to stay downtown. If my intentions are to visit Heifer International and the Clinton Library, do I need a car? I assume no, looking at maps, but wanted to confirm.
I assume taking a taxi to the airport will also be no problem, for a 5 am flight on a Saturday.
Thanks!

If the Clinton Library and Heifer International are your primary visits, you definitely won't need a car. They're next door to each other in the River Market area.
There are several hotels downtown that might interest you, but two that come to mind are the Capital Hotel - which is quite wonderful and recently underwent a complete renovation -and Courtyard by Marriott - that's practically in the backyard of the Heifer and the Clinton Library.
There are also other nice attractions in the immediate downtown area of Little Rock worth a visit, including the State Capitol, a small art museum, and the Old State Capitol (which is now a history museum). If you're exploring during the day and don't mind walking some, you shouldn't need a car even for these. The Clinton Library is indeed very good and worth a visit.
Tried a very good restaurant, the Flying Fish (down home fried and broiled seafood in an informal setting), which is in the River Market area not that far from the Library. There are in fact several food and bar options here.
You might want to check with your hotel regarding transportation to the airport. They should be able to give you advice on calling ahead for a cab. We don't have cabs as plentiful around here as other larger cities. As others have said, you will be okay without a car if you're just staying in the River Market area. There are trolleys running around that part of town, so you could use those for some very local transportation needs. As bachslunch mentioned, The Flying Fish is delicious--one of Little Rock's best restaurants!
