Lion King Discounts ? Do they exist ?
Wife and Son are planning to go to NYC in April 2006 to see Lion King (nothing else).
Can I get significant discounts for Lion King or am I dreaming ??
How would you recommend I proceed. Now or closer to show date ??
I do want good seat but didn't want to spend $ 100 + per seat.
All idea's appreciated !!

No info on tickets but how old is son? Took both my kids 11 & 15. While they liked all the effects it followed exactly the animated movie. It was overly long. They seemed bored after intermission. If this is his first theater experince he'll have a fine time. Just trying to save ya money.

The solution is simple: If you want "good" seats, you'll have to pay the $100+ per ticket. If you want "less-than-good seats," you can get them for less. Regardless, you'll pay the listed price.
There are no discounts available anywhere for the show.

Suzie,
My son is 18 years old and has alway's wanted to see that play. He likes the music very much.
He has never been to a broadway show as we live in Massachusetts.
It appears, I will just have to resign myself to the fact that we will have to pay full price. Truly good seat seem to cost about $ 130.00 a piece based on the sites I have looked at.
It will be a nice Christmas present for he and his Mom

The top-price ticket for Lion King is $110, assuming you do not want "premium" seats (in the first few rows). This covers the orchestra and front mezzanine, but you can get tickets that cost $40, 60 or 80. You can find more info at disneyonbroadway.com
