Limo or Taxi from Las Vegas airport to hotel?
Hello! 16 of us are traveling back to Vegas in Nov. and we are thinking of taking a limo(s) vs. several taxi's to and from the airport to hotel. I forget the cab rates, so I am looking for help on the costs so we can compare. We are staying downtown on Fremont. Thanks all!

You don;t say what hotel - so it's hard to say. but I believe our cab to MGM was not much more than $10 plus tip.
And limos of the type to hold 16 people usually rent only by the hour and are quite expensive.

Hi again - we are staying at Fitzgeralds, downtown. I expect to pay more just because we are not going to the Strip, however last year when there were 8 of us, the limo seemed to work out at about the same cost going to the airport. The difference is having more cabs or 1-2 limos? Thanks!

You might check with the shuttle companies, like Bell Trans, 16 people going to the same hotel is DEFINITELY enough to fill one of their buses, and you might be able to get a discount.

Youw qould have to take 4 cabs, airport to downtown can be around $20 per cab (then of course tip for each driver). Shuttle bus to downtown is about $5-$6 per person, the limo's are around $30-40 per hour (can get downtown within 1 hour for sure...+ tip the driver). Just not sure how many the limos will hold. Check with your hotel about their limo service because even the smaller/older downtown hotels have limo's that will pick you up at the airport...might be a cheaper rate!
