Yes, for downtown, it's just too much hassle to take the bus/subway.

The fare will be about $30 to $35, and you may be able to take one of the non-toll bridges for downtown (otherwise, $4.50 for toll). Then you tip about $7 or $8.

Most people use a taxi from LGA since it's pretty close to Manhattan and usually costs only $~$30-35.

Your options
>taxi total fare $25-35 including tolls ($4) and tip (15-20% of fare) and figure about 30 mins. travel time

>Airport Express bus ($12) http://www.nyairportservice.com/
to Bryant Park or Port Authority of Penn station and then #2 subway to Wall St. ($2) I'd guestimate 1 1/2 hrs.(1 hr. bus, 30 mins. subway) use hopstop.com for exact subway instructions. You can use the name of the starting place and the address of your hotel (52 William St.)

>Airlink- shared van service $16/person 1 1/2 hrs. or more http://www.airlinknyc.com/shareride.html
They estimate 1 1/2 hrs. I think it could be more.

Do NOT use Super Shuttle, another shared van service. It's really terrible in NYC.

Remember there are two Club Quarters in Manhattan. Also the rooms are small so do not be surprised and you check yourself in the lobby.

For a good breakfast, maybe a little over priced try Mangia on Wall Street toward Broadway. Fabulous buttermilk scones. Do not eat in the restaurant of the CQ it is average and way over priced.
