LB - need info about Cincinnati
Hi,
I'm Belgian and my wife an me are comming to Cincinnati on May 31 for 3 nights.
Need your advice, please.
1. Where are the safe area's ?
2. Where don't you want us to go ?
3. Where would you book a hotel ?
4. Any advice about a nice hotel for a nice price ?
5. What to see in a few days ? The must sees and do's ?
6.Where to eat ?
7. Anythin else we have to know ?

Why Cincinnati? If you are going there on business they will give you suggestions. It is not a tourist town (yes I have laid myself open for an onslaught). Give some ideas as to what your interests are. You can stay downtown and visit the new Paul Brown stadium, bicentienneal park and the river,take in a meal at the Boathouse (famous for their ribs. The Natural history museum is housed in a beautiful Art Deco building, art museum has some good pieces, Krohn Conservatory, wander around Mt Adams, There is shopping downtown and a mall at Kenwood and Tricounty. There are many other 'pockets' for shopping. The public transport leaves much to be desired. Chili is a Cincinnati food. You could stay downtown there are a number of hotels,Westin,Omni,Cincinnatian and others. The Maisonnette is a five star restaurant downtown. The Aronoff Center is a great theatre complex and you could maybe watch a performance. Why not write to the Cincinnati Visitors Bureau and ask for information I think the fax no. is (513) 621 5020

Hoi,
We just stay there halfway back to home.
The flight from San Diego to Brussels is a bit long for us. We want to stop halfway for a while.
Initialy we wanted to go to St Louis, but the flight shedule from San Diego to St Louis took us a whole vacation day to get there. That's why we decided to spend the Thursday afternoon , Friday and Saterday morning in Cincinnati.
Interest? Enjoying new but safe places, away from "tourist-things" but still in safe area's. Shopping (last $), good food and nice people. Hotel location must be in a safe area where we can walk a bit arround - even at night.
