Laundromat in Napa Valley

We'll be staying in St. Helena the middle of our vacation and will need to do a couple loads of laundry --everything we're taking (well except guess we'll have to keep something out to wear). So I googled "Laundromat in Napa Valley" and guess what I got. The French Laundry. I don't think so! Anybody know if there is such a thing in St. Helena, or maybe Yountville?

HAHA. I wonder if anyone's ever showed up there with their laundry basket!

Well I suppose for the cost of a meal there, it's a nice bonus that they'll do your laundry. LOL

I think the only game in town is Klass Cleaners, which does laundry.

Thanks, SAB, but ouch. Looks like they don't do anything "by the load" so 10 shirts, 4 pants, 10 pairs underwear, and 10 pairs socks would probably be about $ 125.

Trying to avoid the "wash in the sink and spread around the room for a day and a night to dry stiff and wrinkled" routine.

Hi Patrick,

Googling "coin laundry" the closest I find to St Helena is about seven miles away: Angwin Laundromat at 17 Angwin Plaza, Angwin, CA 94508. The phone listed is 707 965-9962.

Ah, when all else fails, call the hotel. They informed me that right next to Klass Cleaners (but not affiliated) IS a regular laundromat. Hooray. Wonder if we can sip wine while the clothes wash and dry?

I think drinking wine while doing laundry is required in Wine Country.

I know it is at MY house.

Unless we have guests, in which case we switch to martinis.

I couldn't believe that there could be so few laundromats in the Napa Valley, with the large number of visitors they get. So I googled "Napa Laundromats". Here's what came up. (A lot of them).

Just for future reference, the laundromat in St. Helena is on the main street, south side of town, by the wonderful market and next to Klass Cleaners. It was clean, and very efficient. Served us well!
