Last minute orlando hotel advice needed

Hi fodorites,

Due to several unforeseen circumstances my husband and I have the chance to meet up in orlando for one night sans kids this Friday, February 14.

The one other time we stayed in orlando we were at the ritz and loved it. But after paying way too much for his flight I am hesitant to pay the $400 for one nights stay. So looking for a little help.

Looking for a hotel in orlando with a beautiful pool near a selection of restaurants were we can hopefully get a table at this late date. Hoping for an upscale hotel that might not appeal as much to families - (hoping for a break from kids if that's even possible in orlando). Want to spend $250 or less. To complicate matters we are considering a meetup with friends on the St. Cloud side of Kissimmee after dinner.

Any suggestions on where to stay would be much much appreciated

Hyatt Regency Orlando has a great Olympic size pool and also a Serenity pool/hot tubs section.....a couple of very good restaurants and starts at $159.

Yes, both properties are available. Hyatt $179 bohemian $250
My husband tends to be a bit of a fancy pants so I want to be sure I choose a nice one. I like the central location of bohemian and sexy decor but like the balconies at hyatt.

Look right next door to the Ritz at the JW Marriott. One of the best pool areas in Orlando. It is actually attached to the Ritz but cheaper and has a nicer pool.

The highs through Saturday are only in the 60's, so unless you are from Minneapolis, you aren't going to want to spend much time at the pool, especially in the mornings with overnight temps in the 40's.
