This was our 7th year visiting Vegas for Super Bowl weekend! We love to go for this weekend and bet on the game and join the Super Bowl parties.
We have been nearly 20 times to Vegas and love to visit every year.
I learn so much from everyone else's posts, questions and trip reports, I thought I would post a trip report for this visit!
ENTERTAINMENT
We went to one show…and outside of the concerts we have been to, it was the BEST Vegas show we have seen! We saw Viva Elvis at Aria! It was GREAT! Very entertaining, great music, dancing, and of course, it’s a Cirque du Soleil show – so jaw dropping acrobatics. Even if you are not a huge Elvis fan – the show is a must!
For the Super Bowl - we went to the Super Bowl party at PBR Rock Bar at Planet Hollywood. The staff was great. The food was just mediocre.
DINING
Alizé ~ We had dinner one night at Alizé at the top of the Palms Casino - http://alizelv.com/
One of the best romantic dinners we have had! It is on the 56th floor and surrounded by windows. It may just be the best view of the strip! Incredible atmosphere and wonderful wait staff. The food was wonderful – we ordered lobster thermidor and steak. We will definitely return here on our next trip!
Olives ~ On the disappointing side – we eat at Olives at Bellagio every Vegas visit. The menu, however, has changed. The view of the fountains is still wonderful, but the food was not very good and the service mediocre.
Japonais ~ At the Mirage. We enjoyed our dinner here! The menu is unique as it is served out of 3 different kitchens. From small plates to sushi to full meals – we tried a bit of each. The food was wonderful and the staff attentive. Good wine list. Ordering only small plates could get pricey – but it was comparable to other restaurants on the strip.
ACCOMODATIONS
We stayed at Paris casino – we love to gamble and we had a free room offer! We have stayed here before and love the location (in the “middle” of the strip) and love to gamble here. The dealers are always friendly and we have a great time. We were, however, disappointed in the room! They really need to do some updates. On one of the nights, Saturday, we could hear the music from their dance club until 4 a.m.. When we spoke to management the next morning – he said it was a problem for the entire strip and all casinos had this issue. They should really update the rooms and warn guests who are staying in the rooms facing the area of the club.
TRANSPORTATION
I surprised my SO with a limo to pick us up from the airport. I used Las Vegas Limos http://www.lasvegaslimo.com/
They were wonderful! Their service was reasonable and the limo was beautiful. The driver was extremely courteous and friendly.

Sounds like a good way to spend Super Bowl weekend. Thanks for the report.
Next time try a couple building exercise like shooting a machine gun! MGV provides free transportation and costs less than show tickets.
I've taken my wife to the range a few times - and it is a bit "empowering" - but not sure how much more a "tommy gun" adds.
Next time you're in Vegas for the Super Bowl, be sure to check out the "Big Game" specials at the local strip clubs. http://www.vegas-after-dark.com/main/index.php
