Hubs and I will take our first trip to Vegas at the end of April. We've booked our flights and hotel, and now we're looking at show tickets. What shows would you recommend? We'd definitely be interested in seeing a Cirque show. Any faves? What else is a must-see? We've already seen Lion King on Broadway, and we're not die-hard fans of any of the one-man shows currently playing. Maybe a show at the Improv? Or maybe Blue Man Group? (We've never seen them live.)
Also, where can I go to get some good deals on tickets? I've bookmarked stubhub, goldstar, and smartervegas.com so far. I'm also hearing good things about tix4tonight, though it does seem to be a last-minute resource, rather than a plan-ahead one.

There's a wealth of information about Las Vegas shows on the TripAdvisor forum, particularly reviews and how to get discounted tickets.
Two good resources for discounted tickets are TravelZoo and Goldstar, but there are many others.
Top Cirque shows are Mystere (the original), "O", and Beatles Love (especially if you love Beatles music). The great thing about Cirque shows is that the theaters are "purpose built" and it's actually better not to sit too close to the stage (particularly for the high wire and trapeze portions of most of the shows).
Another huge hit in Las Vegas is Terry Fator. Positively hilarious and a really great show.
I think it's best to look for discounts and get tickets in advance for the best seating. Most shows available at tix4tonight have discounts available ahead of time...otherwise, you spend a lot of time in line, and receive only a voucher for most venues which you much then present (often with long lines) at the venue ahead of the show for your actual tickets and seats.
You can also check the hotel websites for discounts to the shows in their venues.
If you can get tickets, Jersey Boys is an absolute must see.
