We will be in Vegas before the start of the Grand Circle tour in Utah.
For anybody who lives or wants to join us in Las Vegas: we are opened for GTGs Saturday May 11 and Sunday May 12 (arrive late Friday, leave Monday morning) - either opened or "behind the scene".
Don't know where we'll be staying yet, will look for something on the cheap side with a nice pool. Recommendation on or close to the strip are welcome.
Las Vegas May 11-12 GTG

I have been at a table at the Golden Nugget buffet and watched people slide through the shark tank and into the nice pool. http://www.goldennugget.com/lasvegas/pool.asp
I never stayed in any of their rooms but the buffet is good.
They have the largest gold nugget (62+ lb.) on public display.
Make sure you see the light show on the Fremont Street Experience.
I like the Golden Nugget. They are a AAA 4 Diamond resort.
I get regular listings from them, and other casinos as well.

If you sign up, you will get regular updates on their pricing and upcoming discounts. Note the "no resort fees" that are included.

Thank you both.
"Make sure you see the light show on the Fremont Street Experience."
I say skip it. Too noisy, childish, old tech, dizzy. It just takes away from the old charm and history of the original Vegas.
I didnt care for the Bellagio fountains; nor Venetian, nor NYNY as I am from NYC.
Dayenu, I missed you by a month. I am going April 12-14th. I don't know if you have been to Vegas before or not but you need to decide if you want to stay downtown or on the strip. Downtown if more for gambling and the strip is more for site seeing. On the strip you can easily get from one end to the other by using the mono-rail. The Freemont experience is a little like a county fair, but watch your wallet.
Sorry I didn't come back to say it's cancelled
We planned, but not going on the tour, so not going to Vegas.
