I just rec'd my confirmation from the Jackson Lake Lodge for our mid-July trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. They sent a notice that due to very little snow they don't think their marina will open this summer. What impact does this have on our plans...other than we were planning an extra day to rent a boat. We've never been to GT or YNP and were really looking forward to finishing up our trip at the lake. Does anyone know if other marina(s) in the park may open? As always, thanks for your help!

I hope that this helps. The only thing that this will restrict are the plans for the day of boating. The geysers, views from JLL and your agenda will not be changed in any way. There are other lakes in GTNP that may also be closed but they will still have plenty of water and won't look dry & ugly.
I suggest you check directly with the Grand Teton at 307-730-3300.
Or go to the NPS website:
http://www.nps.gov
Click on the Grand Teton and then send them an email.
