Expect sunny but cool 65 degree days and chilly 45 degree evenings. But you never know about L.A. weather, it was 95 the other day just two weeks before Thanksgiving.
The average high for november is 73 and low 53. The low temperature is taken at 5:30 am so the evening temperatures are more like 60. November weather in socal is some of the best.
Listen to tracys2cents, you NEVER know with the weather for So. Cal. We live in Vegas and we visit So. Cal many times every year and no matter what time of year we go we always take a cardigan, jeans, shorts and tank tops. I take cardigans even in July & Aug. because the nights can get chilly and I have been there in Jan. when it was 90, so you should really take a little of everything to be safe, or you will be buying something (as I have done many times when I have said...oh, its not going to be hot or cold).
If anyone can tell you (and is accurate) they should play the lottery. What it will be like over Thanksgiving could be anything (except snow) It could be hot, warm and windy, cool and clear, cool and rainy, -- ask again about 4 days before you leave.
thanks
One thing that inevitably happens is the weekend following Thanksgiving, we get rain. In the past 10 years, I was able to put up my Christmas lights ONCE that weekend. It almost never fails, just as it almost never fails that our gardener decides to fertilize our front lawn the day before we go get our Christmas tree.
Now I am topping this as it is sunday.
What kind of weather should we expect Thursday to Sunday?
Thanks
Happy Thansgiving!!!

Check the forecast right before you leave, as it can change.
It's 90 degrees in LA today..I'm in SD and it is 80+ and gorgeous..should be perfect but do listen to all the other posters here because you never know..
Where in L.A.? Very different weather in Santa Monica than in Pasadena or Simi Valley or downtown LA. Seriously varies. We've been to LA (west LA) for many TGs over the years, and maybe we've just been lucky, but I can't remember having weather that was anything but lovely (not hot, not cold, just right!)
This has been a very warm Nov. for Southern CA. It is in the 90's today and supposed to stay nice all week. Think they predict 70's for Thanksgiving Day. Our nights do cool off tho. Have fun!!
Thanks
And, we've hit new records. 90 downtown once again!
It was surprisingly warm today. I'm not adding anything new to the other post but I just couldn't beleive I had to go out and really soak the plants today. Geez. On the bright side, the dog dried instantly.
