Thanks to everyone who had suggested this restaurant. 5 of us had the Soup, salad, bread, wine, chocolate mousse and one had Quiche. We arrived at 11:15 on a dreary, rainy Saturday morning and this was a cozy, yummy treat. The price was $17 for everything, Crene Caramel was the other dessert choice and soda beer or coffee were also choices for the fixed prix.

For the uninitiated, this great little place is in Midtown Manhattan.
Deladeb, just for future reference, many people come here and look at ALL the US posts and have no way of knowing where this place is.
It is great though, isn't it?
fabulous. it's one of my favorites, and how convenient i worked a block away for 4 years.
Found this cozy restaurant one January while staying at The Blakely hotel. We love it. A real comfort place with good food and nice prices.
We also enjoyed it. We wanted something simple and quick on our first night in Manhattan and it was perfect.
I found La Bonne Soup an enjoyable place for lunch when I worked in Manhattan almost 20 years ago and it's still good now.
