Kinky Boots and Pippin. Fodor reviews
N.Y. In February.. Book of Morman will be reseen.
Has anyone seen Kinky Boots or Pippin? I enjoy most plays that we have seen, that being said. I am taking a friend into the city and would like to see something different, either one of the plays previously stated or maybe The Glass Menergie.
Has anyone seen any of these plays or can you give me another recommendation please?
We have seen Jersery Boys, Wicked ( didn't reach the hype) Chicago, Mama Mia,
Phantom, Lion King, most of the oldies, some several times in different cities over the years,
Thanks once again.

I've seen both and prefer Pippin over Kinky Boots, but it's a hard choice there. But Glass Menagerie is by all reviews one of the best revivals of that play ever (it's even been extended), and it's often available at a discount. If you generally prefer plays, then it's not contest there.

I've seen every play and musical mentioned above. Like Doug, I think I actually liked Pippin even more than Kinky Boots -- but I still LOVED Kinky Boots.
But yes, The Glass Menagerie is one of the best done plays on Broadway -- and I've seen countless productions in the past.
If you are a Shakespeare lover, or maybe even if not, it's also hard to beat Twelfth Night! But that will close as scheduled on February 16.

Another huge endorsement of The Glass Menagerie. So, if you're going to be here before February 16, get tickets immediately. I know there's a discount offer on playbill.com; not sure if there's an offer on broadwaybox.com.

Thanks all, and Merry Christmas! Apples and Cheeseburgers for sure nytraveler. I, personally, want it
all. It will be Glass Menergie and the musicals of choice.
Keith, I do like to leave the theatre singing a song. I think that's why I was so disappointed in Wicked. O really liked Popular and one or two other songs that I cannot even remember. I want to love the music so much I download it from iTunes immediately. Popular was the only one that made the iTunes cut. Everyone else seems to really like it though.
Doug, NeoPatrick and Howard. Thanks for the imput. We will be there for four/five nights. I can do plays/musicals/ concert/ even the Westminiater Dog show, I can go all day and night and so can my "partners in fun". We are the "go till we drop" types.
Thanks again for the information, for the cost of plays, I really, really want to like it.
