Kihei rental at Kahaule Makai - is anyone familiar w. it?

Jump to last reply

I am looking for accommodations for Dec 3 for 6 nights in Kihei. One of the rentals is listed as "Kahaule Makai, also known as "Village by the Sea" is an oceanside resort property". The address is South Kihei Road, Kihei, HI 96753. I am wondering if anyone knows anything re. this location and this resort.

Also if someone had a great experience in Kihei with any other accommodation I'd love to know about it. I am not looking for a luxury hotel. Since during the day we plan to tour the island, the facilities of a resort do not add too much value. We are looking for a place where we can have a good night sleep in a comfortable bed, in a clean, quiet and cool room. We prefer a rental to allow us to enjoy breakfast in our place and to have a fridge to keep fruits, etc. It would be nice not to be too far from an area where there are restaurants.

Any comments re. Village by the Sea and suggestions for other places would be greatly appreciated.
