I haven't stayed there but it looks like it would be fun for kids.
I have stayed there. The hotel is your average hotel. Clean and well maintained. The Splash Village part is one big carnival for the kids. However, we did find the "adults only" hot tub off to the side of the action. The kids will have plenty to do and shopping for Mom is close by.
I have also stayed at the Budgetel at the next exit off the express way. It is a comfortable hotel but only has your basic pool for the kid.
