Key West trip Jan 17-20th

Staying at the La Concha with 4 other couples. Temps look chilly lately is that what we should expect? Will it be too cold for water activities? Stayed at the La Concha on Duval 10 years ago is it still a decent place to stay?Any suggestions for fun activities?Anyone try breakfast at the Sunset Key Island?

La Concha was renovated a couple of years ago and the only complaint I've heard about them is the size of their rooms (small). Location is great! It's impossible to predict weather...we were there last February and some days were cold; others warm. Latitudes on Sunset Key gets very mixed reviews. If I were you, I'd try Pepe's (by the Key West bight) instead.

Stay away from Sunset Key ie. Tank Island. Nothing good about the place.

If the upper 48 are in a deep freeze, it will be chilly in Key West. To guestimate the weather, add about 40 degrees to New York City's temp. That usually (but not always) works for me.

Just got back from KW. Not too bad on the temps. Mostly in the mid to low 70's during the day and a couple days it did creep into the low 80's. We had a heated pool at our place so we mostly stuck to that. The ocean water was too cold for me, though you may be able to handle it. It was windy in chilly at night, pants and a light jacket were worn by most though I did okay in pants and a short sleeve. Flip flops the whole time! Have fun, wish I was going.
