No "best" airline - just "different" airlines - which might be best for you depends on time of year, where you are originating from and how many connections you are willing to take to reach Key West after leaving your home airport.

Dukey, it means that we were in line for fully 1-1/2 hours without anyone bothering to explain that the flight was delayed and the reason the line was slow was that they were attempting to re-book each person to their final destination (not easy to do, but at least telling us the flight was delayed would have helped).

Your airline choices are American, Delta, and Silver. The "best" airline is probably the one that gets you to Key West fastest and cheapest since there's no airline there that I'd actually call "good".
