This month's Southern Living magazine has an article on distilleries in Kentucky. I'd appreciate information from anyone who has toured one or more of these. We're thinking of traveling in mid-October (from Florida) and will have our weimaraner with us, so any lodging suggestions will also be appreciated. What other sites should we plan to see in the area? Should we stop at Cumberland Falls? Thanks for any help.

I am also interested in this. Have you made your trip yet?
I toured Makers Mark and Heaven Hill, both near Bardstown, last May. They were both very enjoyable and informative. About hour, to an hour and half each for tour and then additional time, as desired, in the gift shop. Stayed with relatives, so I can't help on the lodging queston.
