Keaau, Hawaii - Gift for Resident

My sister lives on Keaau and I want to buy her a gift that she could use on the island, like:
a gift card for a popular restaurant
a book on the island (similar to 1000 days in venice but on Keaau)
State parking pass for local beaches

Will you please share a gift that you think would be worthwhile for she and her family
(2 year old daughter)?

Thank you for sharing your first hand knowledge of Keaau.

I'm confused-do you mean Keaau,a town on the east side of the Big Island? Maybe you mean Kauai-which is an island?? Please help us help you.

I'm also confused whether we are talking about the town of Keaau on the Big Island, or if we're talking about the island of Kauai.

Hilo Bay Cafe has a wonderful new location on the bay, near Liliuokalani Park and Gardens and Banyon Road, has free parking, fairly reasonable prices (lunch and dinner), and has a Keiki menu, great for someone with a young child; I think it would be a welcome gift for anyone on that side of the island.

I was looking at the menu selections for Hilo Cafe and this is kind of pricey. A $50 gift certificate would not go far. I appreciate the idea but wonder if anyone else has suggestions?

Thank you,
