Does anyone has any information about kayaking in Old Forge, NY ? Where we can get a good access to water / lake for kayaking ?

Contact Tickner's canoes

http://ticknerscanoe.com/

There are endless miles of connected lakes and meandinering rivers you can paddle.

Thanks for your response. In fact, I have my own kayaks, I need a place to launch. I don't have any idea where or in which area I can do that. Thanks.

The folks at Tickners can point you to good waters, maps, etc.

there is the moose river that meanders slowly, and Forth Lake right in Old Forge - I don't know details, but I am sure there are places to park and launch

You don't need to use a DEC boat ramp on 4th Lake for a kayak - that info is for motor boats on trailers.

If you want to kayak right in 1st lake in OF, you can put in at the public park at the Town Of Old Forge Visitor info center.
