Kaui princeville hawaii
I am looking for a place to stay in Jan 2004 for 8 nights. I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Sealodge in Princeville. I would like any other suggestions where to stay. We would like an oceanview, 1 bedroom.

Hello, There are many nice oceanview condo's in the Princeville resort area. You can find some by searching using keywords "Kauai condos". Have stayed at a privately owned condo in Hanalei Bay Resort and also Alii Kai, near Sealodge.
The ocean front condo location is usually on a hill and individual condo's have varying access to the immediate shoreline. Be sure to check how the beach access is at the specific condo you choose, alot of times it can be tricky, and you may have to drive to the Princeville hotel or to other outstanding beaches in northern Kauai.
Enjoy your stay in paradise!

Anitas,
We stay at "The Cliffs" in Princeville and enjoy our stay every year. It is a well kept, well run facility. Sealodge has gotten good reports, Pali Ke Kua, and Pua Poa are fime also. As one of the previos posters said, you can hardly go wrong in this area. great views are a walk away from just about anything.

We have been traveling to Kauai for the last 14 years and split our time between the North and South shores. For the past several years, we have been staying in a condo complex on the North shore called Pali Ke Kua for it's breathtaking, unobstructed views of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay. Granted, not all of the condos in this complex have these views, but there are enough of them. We had stayed at Hanalei Bay Resort for many years until so many of their rentals became "uneven and disappointing." So, we feel fortunate to have discovered Pali Ke Kua. Do a search if you're interested. There are quite a few, but don't go through the rental agency on site. Their prices are the highest. We have dealt with any agency called Princeville vacations and have found them extremely accommodating, however, there are many independent agencies and many owners who rent their own units at fair prices. Hideaway Beach, directly accessible from PKK, has become one of our favorites to spend the day - so peaceful and quiet. I'm not familiar with Sealodge. There are so many condo units in the Princeville complex, but what a nice area to enjoy your morning walks or runs and the North shore is spectacular in its raw beauty.
