Kauai's North Shore in Nov?

Were looking for a condo Nov 27-Dec 1 on Kauai, thinking North Shore? Or Poipu? We have reservations at the Kauai Coast Resort Dec 1-7th already & just decided to extend our stay by 3 more days. Looking for something oceanfront, but not too much money a nt. Thanks

By November, our winter surf conditions are in full force -- usually making the beaches here on the north shore and on the windward side "lovely to look at, but don't go in the water". 8-)

If you're wanting to use beaches, and have less chance of rain, look to Po`ipu.

For vacation rentals, use something like google.com -- type in "Poipu vacation condo" and wade through the list. Have a _great_ visit to our Garden Island!

We stayed at the Kauai Coast in August. Good mid-point on the island from which to go North or South. Very nice property too (and a very reasonable price)!

Recently renovated, that is one of the premium spots on the windward side of the island right now. You'll love it, I'm sure.

Yes, Kauai Coast Resort is probably the second nicest property on the east side, Marriott being the best. (Only my opinion!) However swimming there is not very safe as the water is rough and the bottom is rocky (year round.) Popiu is your best bet for safe winter swimming.
