Kauai Vacation Rentals & Real Estate
Does anyone have any experience using this company for high-end rentals? My husband and I are thinking of going to Kauai but are disappointed in the island's resort options.

This may or may not be connected to the company we rented from : Aninni Beach Cottages. They have a website and an 800 number. This was a series of three cottages built in such a way as to allow privacy. We stayed in Lily Pond. It's a one room house with lanai, full kitchen, washer/dryer(very handy)weber grill on the lanai,TV-VCR. I thought it was a great spot to stay as we wanted to be out of the hubub and have the facilities to cook. Aninni is midway up the North-east shore and about ten minutes to Princeville. It was also pretty easy to reach the north shore beaches from there(Tunnels should not be missed)

These folks are the BEST. We have used them 5 times now and they are very professional and have a wide variety of properties to choose from. If you are going for your first time stay on the north shore and get a place past hanalei.....You will really love it....

Hi Lizard,
Thanks for the positive feedback. I'm curious, did you find the staff to be helpful, the homes to be clean, etc. Also, I believe we'd like to stay on the north shore but I'm afraid of rain...we'll be there in early February. Got any opinions on weather?

We booked our condo through www.vrbo.com This is the second time we have booked (first time was a cottage on Maui) through private individuals and I must say it was a breeze. The prices going direct are a lot better and yes, you can get a high-end home for rental through www.vrbo.com. Good luck!

We recently were in your same situation and after some research found Whalers Cove in a quiet, beautiful, hidden neighborhood in Poipu. All I can say is fantastic !! We stayed in a $1.8 million, 2BR condo on the ocean for under $300/nt. They also have smaller and larger units. Good Luck !!
