My husband and I will be visiting the islands of Kauai and Maui with our two year old this fall. We are looking for any suggestions on activities with small children. Also, we will be staying at the Stouffer Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort on Maui. The description in Fodor's looks great but any comments based on first hand experience about the hotel would be greatly appreciated.

Visited the Renaissance recently -- very lovely resort. All rooms have VCRs and you can borrow children's video from the hotel. Try the Aston's luau. The resort was nicer than I expected it to be. I'd stay there without question.
We stayed at the Stouffer's a few years ago. It's a nice property for the $$$. They usually have good deals on their rates. Nice location in Wailea. Service was good and rooms were nice.
