Interesting festival I had not heard about though we've been to several others in the state. Is it new I wonder? Will pass info along to son and family in Wichita. But maybe you or someone might post a report?
Bill in Boston
The first Festival was in 1990, but I didn't start attending until 2007. The festival moves to a new location every second year. The next two years it will be in Liberal, Kansas.
I took along a tote bag and some smaller bags. Other than the winery tent and a strictly commerce tent, they were organized by region or county. I was selective on which brochures I took, and set the ones from each tent in a bag of their own so I can find stuff from that area when I plan a visit to that region.
We had other places to go, so we didn't really do the food or entertainment, We still spent nearly 3 hours visiting displays and talking to people from the various communities and attractions. We recognized several of the people from places we have already been.
We limited our purchases to T-shirts, jelly and some mixes.
