June Photography Trip east of the Palouse in WA

Jump to last reply

I am signed up for a photography workshop in the Palouse region of Washington State for June 2-7. We will be based in Colfax, WA.

I am thinking about either flying out from Connecticut earlier than June 2, or spending a day or 2 extra at the end, which means flying in or out of someplace other than Spokane.

Can anyone make some suggestions for some other good photography regions that I could visit? (I have already visited, and loved Seattle environs and Portland environs and the Columbia River Gorge.)

I was thinking that maybe the drive from/to Kalispell, Montana might be interesting especially on Route 2.
It is about a 5 hr drive to Pullman – I could do this with an overnight somewhere.

Any recommendations before I buy my air flights?
