July 4th Week in North Carolina Mountains - Suggestions?

Family of five (parents, two teens and one pre-teen) staying in Andrews, NC area during 4th of July week. Planning to white water raft, zip line, gem mine, shop, see waterfalls, etc... Any suggestions on which companies to go with for rafting and zip lining? Any other suggestions for activities, good restaurants and other towns to visit in the area are most appreciated!
