We'll be traveling to Baltimore in a few weeks when my husband is scheduled for surgery at Johns Hopkins' Bayview Center. I'd like hotel recommendations from readers familiar with the area. I'll need the room for myself for a few days while he's in the hospital, so would prefer somewhere where I'll feel comfortable returning on my own after visiting hours. Then, we'll both be in the room for a few days after his discharge, so we'll need easy access to a restaurant, and an in-room microwave/frig would probably be really helpful, too.
Many thanks for any advice.

Many years ago I took my small child to be tested at Johns Hopkins. One of the main things I remember about that trip is how incredibly helpful ALL the staff members were, especially with helping me find a place to stay.
I'm confident they must have all sorts of information available to prospective patients' families. If I were you, I'd contact them directly and ask for information.
