Celebrating first wedding anniversary this January. Any suggestions for a great, not so expensive, vacation? We went on a cruise for our honeymoon and loved it. But I think we were spoiled by our ship (RCL's Voyager of the Seas). Thanks for any input!

Hello,
where are you located and how long do you have for your anniversary trip? Do you want to drive somewhere or fly?
Nancy
I'm in Key West, FL, and am up for just about anything. As long as it's not too expensive! I'm willing to fly, boat, drive. About $2,000 is what I'm willing to spend... MAX! Humm...
How about Palm Springs, CA? Weather is great that time of year, cool evenings, nice afternoons...and you'll get to see a different type of landscape with the desert since you are from Key West.
Sorry, danette, but I really think you need to talk to your husband and decide what interests you. How can we know if you don't???
Seriously, you could take a ski trip up north, or to the mountains. You could take a beach trip in Mexico or to the Caribbean, you could take another cruise, you could hit one of America's wonderful large cities for touring large museums and shopping. Most of these could be done under $2000 for a week (you didn't mention how much time you have). You may even be able to do Europe for that price if you get a good airfare sale.
So, what do you really want to do? If you don't know, we'll probably all be throwing darts at the wrong dart board trying to guess.
