I have been told that there is no place to leave your vehicle at the Jackson, Mississippi Amtrak Station. Does anyone know of any parking close by?

Amtrak lists the address for JACKSON (JXN) as:
501 E. MICHIGAN AVE.
JACKSON, MI 49201
Maybe a Mapquest, Yahoo, or other search could find nearby parking lots ... having never been there this is the best suggestion I can make.
Its page says free short term and paid long term parking

Thanks. I hadn't thought of that! I'll try that.
However, it is Mississippi instead of Michigan. I couldn't find anything that showed parking at the Amtrak in Jackson, Mississippi
Try this link instead. It lists paid short and long term parking.

Thanks for the reply. My husband finally got in touch with someone last night and even though it says paid parking it is not at the station. It is several blocks away. Thanks again for your link.
Sorry -- I went all day yesterday without coffee, otherwise, how could I have mixed up MI w/ MS ?
Glad you found the answers despite my "help".
The parking at the Jackson station is not too far. AND the station recently underwent a big renovation, so you'll arrive in style!
