It's almost midnight here and it's raining geckos. I don't mind because it's making the North Shore more beautiful. We've had two nights of heavy rain and a couple of afternoon showers. Other than that, the weather has been in the 80's which is perfect for the beach.
Tom, we're going beaching tomorrow at Ke'e. Thanks again for all of your North Kauai tips.
Aloha,
susan

sounds wonderful!
rain - part of the beauty of the island. At least it has been at night. Ahhh I am so jealous....love Kauai and the lushness of the garden isle. enjoy the rest of your stay....
I'm guessing you are getting rain today, as it is winndy and wet in Honolulu. I never let rain get in the way of having fun; hope you don't either!
We did have scattered showers today and quite a bit of wind. We had planned to be beach bums at Ke'e today but decided to try Hanalei. Just a few sprinkles. Had a great beach day. No, I don't mind the showers because the sun is usually shining. We saw a beautiful rainbow yesterday.
It sounds as though a storm is a bruin (my daughter's joke as she was a UCLA Bruin) right now.
Yes, Kauai is more beautiful than I had anticipated. Almost end of the road, North Shore and we love it !
