I could really use some help / feedback on where to go for my dh's birthday, early April. He's going to turn 50 and originally wanted to go to Greece but had a change in heart. It's been challenging getting him to agree to go anywhere lately so I'd like to stay relatively close to where we live (Maryland's Eastern Shore). He loves the beach and we've never been to the Outer Banks so I was thinking that might be a good idea? Ideally, a place to go and relax for a few days; a new place to explore with outdoor activities; a little art and history would be a plus. Am open to suggestion.
ISO feedback for birthday destination

How about the Sanderling Inn in Duck,NC?
Hi, Miss AnnMarie,
I think that's a great idea. It's beautiful up there and it won't be crowded. It COULD be a little chilly, so prepare.
cmcfong, thank you for the suggestion, what a beautiful resort. Have you stayed there? Very nice reviews on TA.
suewoo, thank you!
Hi Ann Marie, I have stayed there and liked it very much. Although it has been a couple of years, I would feel confident recommending it.
PS did you buy yarn in Charleston? I've already messed up my New Year's Resolution.
Good to know, cmcfong, thank you!
No, yarn it, I did not. I behaved myself.
suewoo,
