Is there a childrens lounge or video arcade at Midway?
I am driving to Midway from Champaign with my 2 boys (4 & 7) and want to leave plenty of time for driving, parking, security. But, if all goes smoothly then I will have lots of extra time in the airport. I can let them watch the DVD player if need be, but I was hoping there would be something else to occupy their time.
Thanks! Have a great weekend!

Hi L2P. Sorry to jump in on your post, but was wondering if you think Kings Island would be good for four boys (ages 16, 15, 13, and 11).
We're trying to figure out a last minute trip before school starts and so far have come up with Washington, D.c./Philly and Wisconsin Dells but I was thinking Kings Island might be another option, not as far as the east coast and more activities versus sightseeing.
Anyhow, thanks for any suggestions.

Yes, it would be great. I was actually born & raised in Cincinnati. KI also has a good waterpark, so you might get a two-day pass. There is also baseball game (the reds stink though) and the cincinnati zoo (but might be too hot) and the newport aquarium (indoors
Another idea, maybe you have been there? We are planning on going to Starved Rock State Park and Grizzly Jacks indoor water park in Sept for a weekend. It is north of Champaign, so it's close to Chicago.
Happy planning!

My favorite thing to do in Midway is eat. There are great fast food places, Gold Coast Dog's, Potbelly's, Pegasus (greek), Morries (corned beef) and mexican (which I don't eat, & don't know the name). Give the kids the choice of what to get, and I am sure they will be happy.

I recently read an article in the Chicago Tribune about fast food places that people from around the country LOOOVVVE, but which aren't available in Chicago. The article also mentioned which places were scheduled to open here in the near future. Chik Fil A was one that is not here yet, but is coming (I think by the end of 2007). Sorry, I don't have any info for you on fun things to do at the airport. You might check their website and see if you can find anything.

Thank you for all the help!
I just remember the cincinnati airport once had a climbling structure & slide for awhile and orlando and phoenix (I think) had an arcade.
I am sure we will manage, my kids have flown quite a bit.
Thanks again & have a great weekend!
