Hey Ron....you only need to post once. I can't help you with your destination but with a little more detail like who is traveling, time of year year, your budget, your interests, etc...someone here might be willing to help.
There are some gems in MS. If you like to gamble you can go to Gulfport for the day- you're very close to New Orleans if you wanted to go there for a couple of days. If you are a blues fan you owe it to yourself to go to Clarksdale to see the Delta Blues Museum. Morgan Freeman has opened a restaurant in Clarksdale. Yo could go east to Oxford, MS to see the William Faulkner estate and then head to Tupelo to see the birthplace of Elvis. From Tupelo you're about an hour from Memphis and this should be on your itinerary.
