Thinking about Sandpiper since it has suites. Your advice is greatly appreciated!
Is Cape May a good vacation spot with a 2yo? Looking to go for about 4 nights.

I used to visit Cape May frequently, however, in the past decade it has been over-built & become too commercial. In addition, I have trouble paying to get on a beach (& yes I know that is common in the north east). As far as a two year old, it would be fine but I would look at some other locations first.
It depends on what you're looking for. Cape May is one of the more quiet towns on the New Jersey shore.
Cute Victorian houses and B&B's, etc.
Ocean City is a family town, but it is VERY commercial. However, there's a lot to do on the boardwalk and they hae good beaches.
I am not trying to be snide: What special vacation requirements or prohibitions exist for a 2-year-old?
Thanks, all! I guess there are some differing views, but it sounds like it could be right for us. Sounds like even if it's 'more quiet', we'll be able to get in our car and drive to the next town if we need more action.
As for requirements/prohibitions for a 2yo, all I meant was, is the area kid-friendly. I don't want to show up at a hotel and have people get annoyed that there is a 2yo running around if they were expecting some romantic, exclusive vacation.
I guess I just looked at the title of the post. Thought you were interested in more than just hotel.
