Ira or anyone: computer question about links:

Could someone tell me how to get a link that is not underlined to come up? I know there is a way to do this without WRITING it down and then putting it in the address bar. I have tried but can't figure it out. Thank you (I hope).

click your left mouse button and highlight the text. Release the mouse button.

Press and hold the "control" key then the letter "c" for copy.

Move your cursor up to the address part of your browser screen.

Press and hold the "control" key and then the letter "v" for paste.

It should put the text where you want it.

Control "c" and control "v" are basic copy & paste commands that work almost everywhere. Word, Excel, Notepad, in this posting box on Fodors...

Or you could highlight the text, right click it and choose copy...go to address bar and erase what is there, right click and choose paste.

Funny. This question got double posted so betweeen the various answers here and on the other thread, interesting how many different ways there are to do this. I've been taught one I didn't know (the right click)
