Updates from Hanalei

To this I would add the Amana Colonies, about 20 miles west of Iowa City.
And dinner at the Brown Bottle.
Go Hawkeyes
All terrific places (though I haven't ever been to the B&B mentioned). Givanni's downtown is also great for Italian.

tom18 - have you ever been to a brunch at the Ox Yoke Inn? We go maybe twice a year and each time I find that I don't have to eat for, oh, about two days.
Is Mondo's still around? Great spot for pasta when our daughter was a student at the U.
Mondo's is still in Coralville - the downtown I.C. one shut down a couple of years ago. Same owners as Givanni's.
Iowa Girl - Nope. Haven't been back to IC for awhile.
