Interracial couple looking for best cities to live in
My husband is Black and I am Puerto Rican though i don't look like your stereo typical Puerto Rican, most people are not sure what I am whether i'm Bi-racial, White, or Italian. We currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio (say no more) and we are looking to relocate to another State that would welcome diversity and interracial couples. Anyone have any comments or helpful tips. We are looking for either a warm climate or where the weather is very nice most of the time. We also have two kids and one on the way.
Thanks

My dad and stepmom are an interracial couple (White/Phillipina). They have lived in Houston for many years and I'm not aware of any problems with racism. I live in Austin and people here are also quite accepting. If you are a fluent Spanish speaker, that will be a big plus when searching for jobs in Texas. The climate is mostly warm in both Houston and Austin. I prefer Austin's weather because Houston is more humid.

Might I toss San Francisco Bay Area into the mix?
We're expensive, but there's a reason people flock here - you can be who you are without worrying about what others might think.
Heck, I even know quite a few interracial Gay couples - and no one even turns a head here.

True - the Bay Area is so ethnically diverse that no one pays any attention at all to race or ethnicity. some towns are probably better than others to live in. The only thing that ever seems odd is if you are in a public place and notice that everyone is Caucasian - and that does not happen often.

I'm Biracial and live in Oakland, CA. Mom's white and Dad's black. I don't really run into problems here being the child of an interracial couple. My brother is white, sister-in-law is black. I don't think many people have issues with it around here. To be a bit more general about it, most metropolitan coastal cities have few race-related problems, or at least fewer than the midwest and the south. Some places in the South are okay, too. When N.O. was still above water I visited with my mom and nobody really batted an eye there, and in most of Texas I'm sure the same applies. You've got choices. Just know your budget, because California is definitely expensive to live in.
