I live in Seattle and that inn is one of the nicer places. It's got a good location, and it'll be easy for you to get around. Another hotel we always recommend because of it's location and atmosphere is
The Edgewater on the waterfront. Hotels are always full in the summers though so make sure you're got your reservations. Seattle is a popular summer tourist spot.

Yes! We stayed at the Inn At The Market in '92 and loved it! We could barely afford one night there at the time (recently married & limited income!) so we didn't eat there, but the rooms are very charming - I loved it. There's a neat deck up top from which you can see the Sound. It's in a great location, though getting around in that part of town can be tricky as it is in any downtown. We loved being able to walk to the Pike Place Market which was steps away, and many restaurants and their wonderful aquarium and the waterfront - what a neat place, I want to go back! Enjoy!

THIS IS A FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY, CONVENIENT AND WELL DONE. THERE IS A GRAND REATAURANT ACROSS THE ENTRANCE, A BIT EXPENSIVE BUT VERY GOOD.

You'll enjoy the Inn at the Market. My wife and I stayed there this past March and would do so again. Make sure you spend the extra $ to get a room with a view looking out over the Market and onto Puget Sound. You'll regret it if you don't!

I live in Seattle, so haven't stayed at the Inn, I have heard it can be noisy-so be sure to ask about that-I agree it would be worth the extra $$ to stay on the side with a view of the market and the water. The restaurant is called Campagne and one of the best in Seattle (along with Fullers at the Sheraton and Ponti's on the canal-well worth the short taxi)

Have fun-Seattle is a great place especially if you get good weather-otherwise we always have great theater and movies!
