My husband and I are thinking of a few days rest at Canoe Bay near Chetek, Wisconsin. Has anyone been there and does it live up to the wonderful descriptions? Any information would be appreciated. Thank You!

Taffy, My husband and I spent a few days at Canoe Bay 2 summers ago. We had a really nice, relaxing time. We actually did very little other than read and walk around the lake. The dining room served awesome food. It was so pleasant to simply walk to dinner and then back to our wonderful room. A great spot to just totally relax.
Friends of mine rave about Canoe Bay...I haven't been myself, but I was told that they hardly saw another soul on the property, ate like kings, enjoyed the library, and felt totally relaxed by the end of their stay. They recommend it very, very highly.
Thanks for the responses! I just need to pick out the weekend and I'm going to make reservations!
