IND airport - drop off/pick up?
I was just told the increased airport security is not allowing pick-up or drop off for passengers, so how are you managing you rides? Where and how, can you meet?

Bodi, there's covered parking practically right on top of the airport! Park in that (it' free for the first 30 minutes) and arrange to meet your party inside the airport. It's not as inconvenient as you might think to use the covered parking for either leaving people at the airport or picking them up.

bodi, follow the signs to hourly parking. It's the left fork in the road (on the right side will be the signs to extended parking). The parking garage is entered through gates and you take your ticket. Get in the right lane since the left lane is for the hourly uncovered parking, and that's a minimum $4.50 charge! The covered parking is accessed by a spiral off of which are the different levels. Try for level 2 or 3 and park, walk across the road (the same road you use normally for pickup/dropoff) and meet inside the airport on the shop level, or downstairs at baggage claim. There's a foodcourt upstairs (the only one in the entire airport) so maybe that would be a good place.

On the ground and walk-way levels to the short term parking garage are big, yellow machines to pre-pay your parking ticket when leaving. They even take credit cards.
Many people walk right by them to discover a line of a dozen or more cars waiting for the single, manned ticket booth that's open.
